    I think I found a glitch in NWS. My NWS profile gives me just View Only for almost everything in the program, I can't even view the Publisher Records for anyone not in my group, which is really strange since I can view everyone's record on NWP. Anyway, I was looking at my own Publisher Record and noticed that I could add data to Sept 2026. Just that month. I checked the Publisher Records for a few in my group and I can edit their Sept 2026 even though I am in View Only mode. Strange.

    Agreed. The Help file that Matt S posted clears up the misconceptions I had. NWP provides a simple and convenient way to submit the application and everything else is the same.

    Thanks. I was assuming that all of that information reset back to default when the territory was returned. So then, when and how does the territory get reset back to normal? Edit: I found the Help file. I see how it works now. Thanks.

    I was hoping that would be done automatically once the application was approved. Our Secretary doesn't usually select the AP box on the Publisher Record until the end of the month...😟

    How does your congregation use the three custom fields for marking a home in the territory? We have At Home, Not At Home and DNC. What do you have?

    If my understanding based on comments here is correct, it seems it will be a pretty straightforward process. A publisher uses NWP to submit an application, each of the SC receives a Task in NWS, assuming they are using the latest update and check NWS frequently. Once they complete the NWS Task, the applicants Publisher Record in NWS is automatically updated to indicate the applicant is an AP for the month selected. That information can be printed in the NWS Reports and given to the MWM chairman. Can anyone confirm that is the process?

    I guess I didn't explain myself well. Its my understanding from comments made here that each of the SC receives a Task in NWS, after each of them complete the Task, NWS automatically marks the AP box in the Publisher Record. I personally haven't seen any of that happen yet, it's based on what others have said here.

    I am assuming that after the SC approves the application, NWS changes the Publisher Record to indicate the publisher is an AP for that month. Then the NWS Pio Report could be given to the MWM chairman to announce who is AP. I hope that is what it does 😁

    I am wondering the same thing! I used it yesterday to submit an application for September and I haven't heard anything from anyone yet, so I will ask the Service Committee if they received the application. I'm really curious what the process is for them to receive and approve applications submitted through NWP.

    I switched back to English yesterday but the notifications are still showing up in Pidgin. 🤣

    Our congregation will be switching from Territory Helper to NWS/NWP territories soon. Please share any suggestions you have for the Territory Servant, Elders and Publishers.
