I am sure that our wonderful New Government will approve amazingly clean and efficient new modes of transport, in order that we all get to “widen out” no matter where we are in the New World! Why travel at all? Why not simulate it with a good old Star Treck Holodeck “recreational room” where we get to take a break from the mundane and interact with holographs of all the resurrected prophets of old and other biblical characters. . . . It truely is a wonderful scripture! When we think of all the odds that are stacked against us. . . Inherent sin from Adam & Eve means that there is a constant struggle inside of us between “IT” and our created nature, which was in God’s image. Then of course, we are born into Satan’s world - his territory - his rules, all of which conspire to overwhelm our God given conscience from the start. In many instances, our families, neighbours, aquaintances, workmates, authorities. . . can all be pawns in Satan’s hand to be used against us. We are not even Jehovah’s first choice of people, as were the Israelites - just a grafted on wild branch! Satan has so many weapons at his disposal to overwhelm us. . . . but nothing is a match for the incredible power of Jehovah’s holy spirit which we have at our disposal, just by asking through Jesus! Imagine our Father’s pride when, despite all the odds, miserable creatures like us ASK for that holy spirit using our own free will! (We really cannot go it alone in this time of the end, against all those odds!) Jehovah really wants us to succeed! What a reply our Father will have for Satan at the final test if against all odds, we can maintain our integrity until then - because we really have nothing to recommend us, except our faith in the ransome sacrifice, our obedience and love for the One who allowed Jesus to volunteer to die for us. Our loyalty and steadfastness vindicate both Jehovah’s name AND his decision to provide the ransome. Like Paul, I pray constantly that I will not disappoint - and I worry constantly that I might!

Depends what you mean by creationist, I guess. I believe Jehovah cannot lie - therefore, however long the “days” of the creation and evolution of the rest of life on Earth were ( possibly billions of years) I do not believe that Man followed the same route to Eden. Eden was it seems, a small area of the earth which Jehovah perfected in order to place his first perfect man. That man and his descendants were to spread Edenic conditions all over the Earth. True, we do not know how long Adam had been in Eden before being turfed out and we do not know how long the process of making Adam took.(Genesis 2:7 And Jehovah God went on to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living person) I believe it took only moments rather than millenia - based on the account of Eve’s creation being a rib taken from Adam & fashioned into another person. Also, how the Angels can fashion up a body to order to be able to give a witness to us when Jah needed them to. I guess that I believe that the creation of Man was an “exception to the rule” of evolution - given that the Grand Creator has the power to do whatsoever he wishes. Look at it this way - setting aside all the complex scientific knowledge and education there is in the world ( which I don’t understand either!) logic tells me that if Man had existed for much more than 6,000 to 7,000 years - we would have destroyed our planet ten times over! God’s word, the bible, is always right - maybe all will be revealed if we keep the faith and make it to the new Eden!

Bro. william how long are the “periods of time” estimated to be by science? I only ask because the biblical account of the creation of man and the time span of generations meticulously recorded in the bible, only takes us back to around 4’000 bce.

If this is totally inaccurate, then we all need the accurate knowledge so that we are not misled, or indeed mislead others - and for that, I thank you for contributing. 🏆

All very contrary to the theory of evolution! In short, each new generation is passing on its own defects and all those of the generations before it. That is why God’s word says “unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved. . . “ Matt 24:22

I think that strange critter is a skeleton - meant to be death following them around from now on. . . . and the funny “cocoon” thing on the floor beneath it is probably Adam’s shroud waiting for him!
