  1. The Photo Drama of Creation was filmed in 1914 and contains the Passover celebration, the capture, trial, sentence and execution of Jesus. The ancient films from the Drama have been preserved and restored as much as possible. Brother George Couch from Bethel, used the films when he visited many congregations and narrated and explained many of the little known work that went into the it's creation. This 17 minute clip has been extracted from that presentation. Enjoy! Imagine what the new Jesus video's will be like after watching how innovative and professional they were when making this film. 2. I'v followed this app literally for years. It respects all legal rights of the WTB&TS. You probably would never find it unless someone shared it's existence with you. If you find it helpful, share it with others. You might want to explore AreaStudio's other apps - TheoPubsFeeder, and Talk & Note - available on Google's App Store.
  3. You might want to give floating bible (search Google app store) a try. It uses NWT, Daily Text and songbook. I like the way it finds bible verses. It can also scan a PDF and locate all the scriptures and link them to popup when reading the text.
  4. No! Not our new Jesus series but one being done for TV. Watch the news clip from Fox News and let us know what you think. The first thing I noticed is that the reporter thought it nicely portrayed Jesus as a regular guy but also as God. Also that interest in organized religion is dropping drastically. Thank you, Br. Dean for that very encouraging video. I was contacted in 1973 when I was 20 years old. I think it was around that time in the early 70's that the atrocities against our Malawian JWs came to international attention. It was beyond horrific to hear of the terrible inhumane treatment meted out by the demonized militia. I still shudder to think of the horrors of that persecution. To this day I could not bring myself to speak of the senseless and depraved things been done to our gentle and kind friends.

“Well-substantiated reports indicate that both in 1967 and in 1972 the Young Pioneers [the youth wing of the Malawi Congress Party (MCP)] and their supporters inflicted torture on the Jehovah’s Witnesses in the form of rape, beatings, shaving with broken bottles, and burning. In the autumn of 1972 these persecutions caused a number of deaths and the migration of some 21,000 Jehovah’s Witnesses to Zambia, where several hundred died in an inadequate refugee camp.”

Nice to have another "old guy" here.

I remember writing letters to government officials in Malawi.

I had just gotten out of the Army a couple of years before and baptized in 70.

Sorry to say that things never change and have only gotten worse.  It seems that badness just moves around but it does prove that Satan doesn't have any new tricks up his sleeve.

I like to say that "the new system is no longer just around the corner, it's across the street"  Hang in there! We'll be home in a minute.

  5. Sorry, Making the link available for anyone to download IS DISTRIBUTING. If you would personally like to see the publication, please PM me.

  7. Has this question been answered? [Where are comments typed/pasted into the new textboxes in meeting workbooks stored?] If so, where are they stored in jwlib, jwpub, pdf versions?
  8. I have all the audio/video/text data on a portable drive. I tried the drag and drop procedure and it worked but not as well as I'd hoped. The library imported the files but then saved them to the predesignated library folder. It ignored the portable drive location altogether. The library was populated, mostly but some would not upload because the updated file was newer than the saved file.
  9. Thanks for your reply. I guess I mean is downloading the contents of the drop down menu when you click on []Library on the home page. Includes videos, music, audio dramas, magazines and online library. I think what I'm looking for is a website clone. You could just download all of the contents, but the website is coded to contain all of the cross links also. Wonder what the legality of doing such a thing is? Hummm Guess I'd better do some more research.
  10. Does anyone know of a way to download the online jw library and have it all available offline? I have downloaded all of the jwlib app content and have that on a portable drive but would like to have the online version on a portable drive also. - .... .- -. -.- ...
  11. Correction, the talk was from the 2011 Convention. it was held at our Assembly Hall... The talk I offered is still the same.
  12. This talk was given at the 2011/12 "Let God's Kingdom Come" Circuit Assembly. The recording is too large for this platform so I am providing a link where the video can be downloaded. FYI Recorded in Turnersville NJ and delivered by Br Roger Hollaway from Wall NJ. 29:25min. https://mega.nz/file/RYkAUQAA#pgtJwrodsmx9zw2xoHK9TlVziNmsseOUn8n7x4YcboA
  13. I have a Onyx Boox Tablet. It has the capability of installing Android Apps so I downloaded the epub app "Reasily" and then installed the downloaded epub version of a Watchtower. Everything works as with any other device.. Although you can choose all of the app's colors, they only show up as dark or light gray. The same thing is true with trying to annotate using the JWLibrary. I prefer the epub "Reasily" version as you can use it to underline, squiggly underline in addition to highlighting. Hope this helps.
