Iran warned Iraq because they did not want to hurt anyone. The Iranians wanted to demonstrate what they are capable of. The USA has no chances to win with Iran in a conventional war without colossal losses. Iran is like a fort - mountains everywhere around the country, reasonably well-armed. To start any attack the US need to use neighbouring countries as their bases. All those countries, like Saudi Arabia, Israel or Iraq are well within Iranian range. And the Iranians have shown how precise they can attack. It takes some precision to purposely miss by a tiny fraction not to hurt anyone. On the other hand, the USA cannot involve in a conflict with Iran as that would expose them to China and Russia. Both countries would use that chance. The USA is a weakening empire and soon will no longer be able to project its power everywhere in the World. Attacking Iran they would cause a huge rise of terrorism, mostly on American soil. In other words - there will be no WW3 - not yet.

As I said, there are multiple factors that must coincide at the same time to cause a crash. The pilots were not trained and were not aware of new systems. Otherwise they would realise they must switch off the flught augmentation system. Other failiures happen in all planes but you need to be aware. If you loose brakes in your car driving 70mph on a motorway but nobody told you about that red light flashing on you dashbooard and you are not aware of how breaking system works and you were not aware of that light, then you can end up tapping the light like in the movies, where they run out of fuel. Instead of focusing on that silly behavoiur you should focus on speed reduction and use the hand brake (if you are aware of its existance), etc. By the time you analyse everything you may end up in a dtich. All 373 Max are grounded becasue they simply cannot fail. There is more politics than enineering. Federal Aviation Administration had to ground them becasue when you make some significant changes then you may loose the certification as you end up with a slightly different product. And FAA overlooked that too. Now they want to preserve their face, Boeing cannot face any other crahs of that model and people in general don't think. So if another Boeing falls of the sky people will begin panicking, the sales will stop, etc.

Take into consideration there was a lot of weapons aimed in the sky awaiting American or Israeli planes. The Israelis are know for flying (shadowing) passenger planes. They have already done so a few times to get deep into countries. Planes don't crash easily. There must be a few mistakes or problems occuring simultaniously - never one. Even if an engine is on fire there is another one. 737-800 can fly with 1 engine. So i guess it was shot by either Iranians, Americans or Israelis. Iranians - they could have done it because of panic, suspicous radar signature, lack of transponder signal or they maybe wanted to ruin Boeing - but then they killed their own people (still "cheaper" than starting a war"). Even 737 MAX are safe. I would have no problem fying in one. The plane is 100% safe.

There are many reasons why the plane crashed. Personally, I think it was shot down.

It is very common nowadays. Usually young people get convinced by the world that they made a good decision to leave the "organisation". They get some short attention from the media but there is another news tomorrow and they are left forgotten with the only audience made up of similar people. I imagine it is very difficult to return to the Truth after making those flashy public statements. Especially, that if you know them closely there was often more to it that they reveal to the public.

I guess if you think about your own congregation and nerby congs over past decades you can roughly extrapolate the rate. Those returning are in a majority but some get disfellowshipped several times during their life, so they distort that number.
