We went to Asheville NC to visit the Biltmore Estate years ago. I stake my claim on that house if it survives Armageddon. 😁 Every inch of that house is just breathtaking!

I have a 4 year old boy that I registered for pre-k before the virus hit (in US). I was looking forward to him getting an early start on education as well as socializing with other kids. Cases of the virus are spiking here in Georgia so there are so many different opinions about whether or not to send children to school. They are supposed to open school in August but it doesn't look likely. I was wondering if any parents here on the forum have to make that decision.

If it's a "modern" version it should have zombies or vampires in there somewhere; or both?

I saw the preview for a mini-series called "End of Days" on the History channel airing Dec. 29th. It was very interesting. It even quoted Revelation 16. In the preview it showed people screaming, running in fear, it looked like sulfur raining from the sky, lightning flashing everywhere; total chaos. I think the plagues were mentioned. I was almost hooked until it said after the rapture the people left behind will be killed or something to that effect. I lost interest after that. It is interesting how there have been so many so called "biblical" movies and shows lately. IMO I think Satan is using anything from Babylon the Great to mislead as many as possible. I'm so glad I have the Truth.

We've used it a few times and have never had a problem. You can usually get a better deal because there's no middle man. You deal directly with the owner. Of course spring and fall have the cheapest rates.

You're not the only one that watches that show. It's a guilty pleasure for me also. I watched the "Baby Squatch" episode last night. Very interesting. I'm more like the skeptic Renae on the show. I won't believe it until I see it with my own eyes. But there is alot of evidence to suggest "something" is out there. Someone mentioned the hair found in the woods. I remember a different show that did DNA testing on the hair and concluded that it was of primate origin but couldn't be specific which type. I don't know about UFO's. The jury's still out on that one.

Bankrupt church wants donations for pastor’s sick wife ferried in limo Some members of a bankrupt Orange County, Calif. megachurch are expressing outrage after fielding an email request for congregants to deliver food to waiting limos so that it can ferried to the founder's sick wife. The appeal comes weeks after a lawsuit charged that the founder of the Crystal Cathedral house of worship, Rev. Robert Schuller, and his family had been paying themselves lavish salaries and other benefits while the church was in financial straits. "They've completely depleted the church's funds," one member, Bob Canfield, told the Orange County Register. "But they have shown that they have absolutely no remorse for what they've done. They're still being chauffeured around in limos. We, the congregants, have nothing." An email sent recently by Crystal Cathedral administrators said that Schuller and his wife, Arvella, "would appreciate meals over the next three to four weeks." It added: "They are to be sent to the church in order to be transported to Arvella. The limo drivers could pick up the dinners or meet in the Tower Lobby around 4:30 p.m." Arvella Schuller has been suffering from pneumonia, and the email asked that the food be low in sodium and include items such as fruit, meat, soup and eggs. Crystal Cathedral Ministries filed for bankruptcy last month. A lawsuit filed by creditors alleges that the Schullers borrowed more than $10 million from the church's endowment fund, and used it for salaries and regular church expenses. "R.H. Schuller used his control and influence to cause the [cathedral] to enter into the agreements that benefitted himself and his family, to the detriment of the creditors and in breach of his fiduciary duties" to the church, the suit charges. A spokesman for the church, John Charles, said the food request was in keeping with the church's commitment to Christian charity. "As Dr. Schuller always says, 'Find a need and fill it,'" he said. "I think that's what we were trying to do here." But Canfield sees things differently. "These are millionaires who have limos and chauffeurs," he said. "Why in God's name would they want the congregants to deliver meals? It's ludicrous."
