  1. Powerful talk! It's nice to see how Bible translation affects people from other language groups.
  2. Inspired By Your Wonders (my fav so far) was 37 so I think it's safe to say we'll still be getting at least one osg a month. Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  3. Its gilead graduation on that link Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  4. Still not here[emoji45][emoji53] Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  5. I just listened to the Swedish version. It is beyond awesome. I like how the friends producing the songs in different languages take a few liberties with the melodies. Some sounds just don't work as well in one language as the other. I guess that explains the variations in this BEAUTIFUL piece. Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  6. We saw your spirit at work --We saw your spirit O Lord Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  7. Actually 91 changed slightly. The lyrics are different somewhere near the end and if you listen hard, you might notice they went lighter on the bass and the sound is generally better on the new recording Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  8. No fear! These people have no fear of God. Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  9. Can this world just end today, please? [emoji22] Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  10. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-devon-40181662 [emoji33] who can update us? Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  11. Bro David, I think that's just the transcript of his speech on here. Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  12. It's beyond amazing. The musical style is probably why it's a children song. It reminds me of "Prince of Egypt" and those classics kids these days will probably never know. Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  13. Chapter One was awesome!! Thank you for this. Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  14. I'm just grateful I didn't call any friends over to watch the broadcast this evening like I intended a week ago. It's around 4pm here in Nigeria. That would have been awkward. Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  15. Probably not. This is a fresh scam. I feared this would happen. With the price of rice more than doubling in a space of a few months in an economy managed by illiterates with nepotistic proclivities, some heartless people in China and the stereotypical Nigerian international businessman whose very existence threatens the possibility of progress for a generation of brilliant youths born into very unfortunate conditions, I guess it was bound to happen. I wonder if Paul was ever ashamed of being called Roman. [emoji21]
  16. There's a reason given in the Warwick video shown at the annual meeting for the move of world headquarters. Brooklyn is simply not what it used to be when the Society moved there. Staying in Brooklyn was not practical anymore. Sent from my M5 using Tapatalk
  17. I think we should just give the new songbook some time. Like everything the slave has ever dished out, we will see benefits we didn't anticipate eventually. I for one still cherish many songs from Sing Praises to Jehovah. The songs bring back memories of singing with a crowd of thousands as a little boy with my parents and feeling so safe surrounded by a large family. I still have the book and sing the songs with my guitar often. I remember grumbling when Sing to Jehovah was announced and I heard He Will Call sung very poorly by some friends from bethel for the first time on a recording. Now it's one of my favorites. As is "He Will Make Strong". I believe Jehovah provides just what we need when we need it. So, I'll just trust He knows where he's going with this new songbook and wait for the rewards to surprise me.
