  1. Among the list of suggested therapies, these two supplements had great reviews by medical doctors. So I've been taking the Cardio Miracle, which is a powder with vitamins, minerals and herbs to support cardiovascular health. And for the Nattokinase, my homeopath recommended this Spike Support Formula. They were a little hard to find so I added the links.
  2. Wow! Rumors travel fast, as I never actually said I was "suffering". 😁 But I do believe in being proactive and having a well stocked medicine cabinet just in case. So thank you for the links, Frances! That's exactly what I was looking for, and the part in the article where it says how to rid the cells of the spike proteins was particularly helpful: First Line Therapies (Not symptom specific; listed in order of importance) Intermittent daily fasting or periodic daily fasts Ivermectin Moderating physical activity Low-dose naltrexone Nattokinase Aspirin Melatonin Magnesium Methylene blue Sunlight and Photobiomodulation Resveratrol Probiotics/Prebiotics/Adjunctive/Second-Line Therapies (Listed in order of importance) Vitamin D (with Vitamin K2) N-acetyl cysteine Cardio Miracle™ and L-arginine/L-citrulline supplements Omega-3 fatty acids Sildenafil (with or without L-arginine- L-citrulline) Nigella sativa Vitamin C Spermidine Non-invasive brain stimulation Intravenous Vitamin C Behavioral modification, relaxation therapy, mindfulness therapy, and psychological support It gets confusing with all the supposed cures out there like you said, "because there are sharks in the water too, jumping on the bandwagon for a quick buck." But this looks to be genuinely helpful.
  3. I started taking a remedy the other day for a sinus issue I was having and the next day I got so tired I had to take a nap - at 8:30 in the morning!! So, maybe it was working, I don't know. But my homeopath told me there are remedies that can help with detox from all kinds of things, and when I asked her about detoxing from the mRNA technology, she suggested I try the America's Frontline Doctors site. So I looked there, but couldn't find anything, so I was wondering if anyone has found anything that works for them?
  4. Odd that they would cite a reference that was old and out of date, that was admittedly biased, and not the newer data that they said would have accumulated by now. As for the current charts and figures of total Covid deaths cited in the CNN article, there have actually been studies done that are finding that many more people have had the disease than what is being reported, as shown here, here, here and here, which indicates that those percentages might be inaccurate. And then there are some who are saying that intubating Covid patients has been doing more harm than good and may be contributing to the higher death rates, suggesting that other treatments, such as drugs that have been successful in treating the disease would be more effective and would likely have saved many lives. There has been so much controversy over this in the media that it's become an outright battle, with the POTUS on the one side, favoring treatment with medications, while the other side is saying that those drugs don’t work and the only solution is to vaccinate everyone. And because this is an election year, the president is being vehemently attacked, such as with reporters stating that he doesn’t deserve to be re-elected, due to the death toll from Covid being worse than the Vietnam War. So, elevating the actual death toll from Covid could conceivably be an attempt to make the POTUS look bad, and would therefore constitute an agenda, which isn't 'secret' by the way. But because the media is aligned with one side of these political ideologies or the other, I was simply seeking to clarify that our organization does not favor one view over the other, and I knew Jerry would never suggest that they did. Sorry for the confusion.
  5. It was interesting that this reference cited in that article states that 'due to insufficient data and short onset time, current estimates of R0 for COVID-19 are possibly biased'. So just to clarify, I'm quite certain you weren't suggesting that our organization is being guided by studies reported on in what some might consider to be agenda driven news reports, but rather are simply encouraging us to follow government recommendations and directives.
  6. Despite the rumors otherwise, you are not crazy, Ross. Here is a report of a 6.6 earthquake in Cuba as reported this morning by the EMSC seismology center.
  7. There aren't really any studies done for the number of earthquakes in the last month or two, but you can look here for the listings on the USGS website for significant earthquakes to date, which goes all the way back to 1900. It could be fun for a couple of home school kids who need a lesson in plotting graphs to take the recent data and see what they can come up with. Also, the graph on this Smithsonian web page seems to corroborate what Ross was saying about an increase in Volcanic activity.
  8. A while back my husband went on a keto diet and so I started looking at low carb foods and discovered riced cauliflower. You can use it the same way as regular rice, and there's a riced broccoli-cauliflower that I like even better. You can get it in all the supermarkets, and here's what you can do with it:
  9. Strange that the USGS didn't report that one and that its no longer on the European feed. And it's in an area that you wouldn't expect earthquakes, flat, a fair distance from the craton edge, and I get about 300 miles from Michigan:
  10. Ross, did you notice the depth on that 6.0 in Argentina? Usually means something bigger is on its way:
  11. Matthew, for some reason I've been hearing that song a lot lately, and it was really bothering me, but I like your simple explanation. A little research revealed that Freddie had been raised Muslim, and the song was about him coming to terms with that fact that he had become gay, for which 'Bismillah' (Allah) was condemning him to death. So, the man he killed at the beginning of the song was himself when he chose to embark on a sinful course. Or so the story goes. It does make for an interesting story.
  12. Bohemian Rhapsody is said to be the best song ever written and was completely different from anything that had been written before it, that somehow "was all in Freddie's mind" before he wrote it. So, that's the thing. It's hard for me to believe that the best song ever written, so different from anything before it just happened to come into Freddie Mercury's mind all on his own. Especially since he was into drugs, which would have made him vulnerable to demonic influence. When I hear it, it makes me think of the plight of the demons facing eternal destruction, and their anger over their impending judgment, and no matter how much I just want to enjoy listening to the song, I can't help thinking that. So, it's probably just me, but maybe others have wondered the same thing.
  13. He did that for the sake of the skeptics, but since they wouldn't look at the spreadsheets, he gave up on them.
  14. He explains his situation in this video he just posted: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7d-6l42XQ6g
  15. We woke up one night to our neighbor's garage engulfed in flames, and embers raining down all over our forest and landing on our house, when we lived in Washington. It was a really weird feeling, because all we could do was wait for a fire to start on our property with the garden hose, but thankfully none ever did. We couldn't believe it, and were very careful after that to keep the forest floor as cleared of dead limbs as we could. After they logged the hillside behind our property, the winds were unabated and kept blowing down our trees, so it was an unending job keeping it cleared. Rocket is right, it's the underbrush that burns, and there was none in that photo, since it was all parking lot and grass. Here are some photos of them logging, and what we had to go through to clean up the blow downs.
  16. There is an arrangement from the society for visitors to stay at the apartments called NCB for up to 5 nights by applying through your congregation. NCB is central to the WT facilities, and it was purchased to house workers for the Warwick construction project. Now brothers wanting to do the tours can stay there, and they provide transportation for the tours, as the sites are remote, and no public transportation is available. The Oasis tours are something else entirely, but well worth your while if you have the time. There are several of them, and they are at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, which you could get to by train. They are done by brothers who take small groups through the museum, and use the artifacts to develop certain bible based themes. When you actually see things, like "the braiding of hair" (1 Peter 3:3), it adds a depth of understanding that you wouldn't have otherwise. Hope that helps.
  17. They read a letter after the Watchtower Study in our congregation last week asking for donations of generators between 2000 - 6000 watts and other things for a shipment to Puerto Rico out of Patterson. On Tuesday, our COBE told us that all of the needs had been met, and the truck left Patterson that morning with 250 donated generators. The video mentioned over 200 generators, and it amazed us how quickly and generously our brothers responded.
  18. These are some of the numbers provided by some 80 stations for the latest 6.4 EQ in the Fiji region https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/us2000autd#origin: Channel Type Amplitude Period Status Magnitude Weight HV AIND HHZ -- mb 4.012e-07 m 1.2200 s automatic 6.12 0.00 AU ARMA BHZ -- mb 3.021e-07 m 0.9500 s automatic 5.90 0.00 AU AS31 BHZ -- mb 1.5295e-07 m 1.1500 s automatic 5.72 0.00 AK ATKA BHZ -- mb 2.052e-06 m 0.9200 s automatic 6.96 0.00 AU BBOO BHZ -- mb 1.18375e-06 m 1.7500 s automatic 6.43 1.00 GE BKB BHZ -- mb 3.155e-07 m 1.0000 s automatic 6.20 1.00 G CAN BHZ 00 mb 1.0995e-06 m 1.8000 s automatic 6.29 1.00 IU CASY BHZ 10 mb 2.884e-07 m 0.8500 s automatic 6.34 1.00 AV CLES BHZ -- mb 5.2922e-06 m 1.2400 s automatic 7.24 0.00 AU COEN BHZ -- mb 6.244e-07 m 1.1500 s automatic 6.35 1.00 IU CTAO BHZ 10 mb 5.688e-07 m 0.8000 s automatic 6.49 1.00 IU DAV BHZ 10 mb 6.665e-07 m 0.7500 s automatic 6.65 0.00 AU EIDS BHZ -- mb 4.238e-07 m 1.2000 s automatic 5.96 0.00 II ERM BHZ 10 mb 1.2295e-07 m 0.9000 s automatic 5.74 0.00 GE FAKI BHZ -- mb 2.47655e-06 m 1.9000 s automatic 6.92 0.00 AU FORT BHZ -- mb 5.6315e-07 m 0.7000 s automatic 6.62 0.00 So the range in magnitudes is from 5.72 to 7.24, and it averages out to about 6.4. So, it's around 6.4, based on simple math. Therefore, using logarithmic equations derived from approximate numbers seems a little too precise to fit this science. But that's just my opinion.
  19. Seems to me it should be a 5.1, too. Sometimes his math doesn't add up for me either, but the numbers he's working with are only approximate anyway, an average, which always seem to be lower than what he thinks they should be. Still, it shows there is nothing exact in this science, so you can't be too picayune with his forecasts. You just go with the flow.
  20. You're funny, Ross. I started watching him back in 2011 because we lived in the Pacific Northwest, (where there were earthquakes), but I can't remember the last time there was an earthquake in Michigan, where you're from. But even though we moved to the East Coast, I still keep up with him, so I definitely get your fascination with 'his science'. I guess either you love it or you don't.
  21. He makes forecasts, and doesn't call them predictions. From what I've seen, he has a pretty good feel for earthquakes, and his method is not too different from forecasting the weather. He's sincere enough, and really just wants to help people, and it's sad to see how much opposition he's encountered, If he wasn't accurate, his viewers wouldn't be supporting him the way they do so he can do it full time.
  22. There's a JW homeschool Yahoo Group that has a fairly large homeschool community: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Jehovahs_Witness-homeschool/info You might be able to find some friends from your area there.
  23. Actually, there's abundant evidence, as the source I just referenced explains: "Thousands of feathered dinosaurs have been discovered, many of which seem to be branches in the bird family tree. And in 1996, scientists in China unearthed Sinosauropteryx, the first feathered theropod that isn't a direct relative of birds. These discoveries are helping scientists not only piece together the origin of modern avians, but also to re-write long-held notions about the ways many dinosaurs looked and behaved." http://news.nationalgeographic.com/2016/04/160405-dinosaurs-feathers-birds-museum-new-york-science/
