Gain an elder lose an elder

We got an new elder just in Jan, 2014. who moved in from across town.

Now, just found out our secretary ( early 30's ) and his wife are moving out - assigned to South Africa branch construction.

Apparently they just gave notice they were giving up their ap't and were going to move into granny flat at her parents across town, while waiting for an assignment.

 

No sooner had they given notice to apt building and then their assignment came through.

Jehovah never fails to come through - on time -His time!

We've just had an MS appointed as elder, then two weeks later another elder moves in!

I like the way the BOE dynamic changes when there are new appointments. We're all watching this space to see how it turns out!

Great story! That's one of the best reasons to 'lose' an elder. Maybe this will give a MS in your hall the needed push to reach out for being an elder.
