Here's an interesting quote from the first article - “The Catholic Church is no more legally responsible for priests who abuse children than a trucking company which employs a driver who molests women,” a defiant Cardinal Pell said." 

 

It is it they know about it, do nothing and allow it!!!!! The article also said it would be a substantial burden to produce documents of every case of abuse - I'm sure it would because there are SOOO Many!  By Pell saying that he pretty much conceded to the fact that there was A LOT of abuse going on by Catholic priests in Australia!  And not once ounce of shame.
