The Black Sea is a good 5000 miles more or less from the United States but the US requires it's Navy to control a region on Russian boarders for Peace and Security.......... They will keep selling that snake oil...

Didn't the Donald Cook leave the Black Sea a few months back after being buzzed repeatedly by Russian bombers and the crew all got scared?

 

I'm sure I heard the Donald Cook had entered the Black Sea months ago, then the incident occured, then they left or something.

I'm not sure but both the USA & Russia conduct war games and military exercises in the region because of its strategic importance. So it's not surprising at all to see the USA there, although under the guise of NATO. In reality though if they observed the protocols they signed when Ukraine was ceded by Russia at the close of the Cold War they have no business there at all. And certainly not 'legally' according to the UN or policy makers in Washington.

Sorry, I just got back from a long trip, and I swear I thought I read it this way "Donald Duck" will enter the Black Sea, Dec 26, 2014 to Promote Peace & Security.   Don't mind me, am not with it.  Just got back from Florida this morning!   Mind as well send int the rest of the Disney Cast!
