Interesting facts on new X-Men character AZAZEL

Recommended Posts

Anyway, any "super hero" theme is... linked to a biblical theme...

Superman is obvious... Matrix too.

Wait what did the matrix do ?

LOL.. relax, he was just saying that the Matrix has a sort of 'biblical theme' running through it.

Lets start with the name of the ship.. Its the 'Nubuchadnezzar'.. Then there is the concept of 'The One' who will come and rescue 'Zion'.

Thats all.. I didn't start this thread to finger point at every movie..We all receive the same spiritual instruction, granted not all are at the same level of maturity but we do receive the same instruction. I was on my way way to see the new X-Men movie when I just looked up the Azazel character and shared what I found out.

My TMS talk: "How could Jesus forgive the sins of the paralyzed man at Luke 5 and a woman at Luke 7 when no animal sacrifices were offered at that time and he had not yet poured out his own life blood as atonement?"

I explained to my householder how Paul at Hebrews 10:1,4 explained Jehovah set a ritual of animals sacrificed, particularly on Atonement day Leviticus 16:5,6 as a pictorial symbolic shadow of the one Messiah's needed sacrifice in it's different aspects. As part of the Day of Atonement there was the sacrifice of:

bullock= for the sins of the Levite priests = Messiah's sacrifice for his King/Priests 144 000.

Lev 16:8-10: 2 goats that looked alike to represent one thing (the Watchtower added that Jews tried to get twin goats to emphasise this) = ( Had to do some gesturing here) The High Priest drew from his casket 2 lots, one in each hand, and placed these hands on the heads of each goat. He would opened one hand to reveal the lot over the goat "for Jehovah" which was immediately sacrificed for the sins of the non-Levites/rest of the nation= all those faithful but not going to heaven as 144 000.

Other lot was for the goat for AZAZEL set apart and later sent into the wilderness to carry the sins of the nation until it met certain death there = Jesus' other sacrificial purpose on earth while he still lived beginning at his baptism when he surrendered all right to life forever on the earth that he could have had as a perfect man, instead to become a living sacrifice to Jehovah. So Jesus was, from baptism on, accounted as if already sacrificed, although his sacrifice was consummated by his death 42 months later. For the remaining months of his earthly life, like the AZAZEL 'scapegoat' - Jesus carried with him, throughout his ministry in the Wilderness of Satan's World, the value of this sin atoning sacrifice (Isaiah 53:4, Daniel 9) and answering Satan's challenge of integrity. Jehovah approved of this living sacrifice by annointing him at baptism with Holy Spirit as Christ with no more earthly prospects - and having therefore, authority to forgive sins based on his faithful guaranteed sacrifice approved by lifegiver Jehovah.

My husband helped with a good illustration here:The Queen hears her faithful servant/subject has a big debt they are unable to pay. She sends her representative with a big cheque from her Coutts Bank to cover it. If you saw her representative with the Coutts cheque, would you doubt it's ability to pay the debt until it was paid? (No - reputable person and bank) So if Jesus forgave someone their sins based on what he faithfully was and what Jehovah had promised about the Messiah, what should those religious leaders have concluded? (He 'was good for it!!')

With all the publicity lately surrounding myths that Jesus was actually married and had children, I have actually used this information with a Bible Study that he lived as AZAZEL to prove he wouldn't consider marriage, as he knew his human life was of self-sacrifice with no future earthly prospects. If he hadn't, he would not have been recognized as the Messiah fulfilling the Day of Atonement in all aspects.Bible also shows his ' marriage' was later in heaven for another purpose.

Thanks for the info! . . .

It's actually quite interesting how marvel superheroes and other comic adventure stories etc have very clear roots in the Bible. In this case, it's just the name of the Character that was taken, nothing else really (if i'm not mistaken). . . . But other popular stories actually have stronger coherence with the scriptures. Have you ever thought of the background story of Batman being related to the Bible?

Tubal-Cain = Bruce Wayne! lol. . . It rhymes too. . . Tubal-Cain's father, Lamech was apparently a violent man. He wrote a poem regarding his murder of someone, most likely presenting a case of self defence, pleading immunity against anyone desiring revenge. It appears that Lamech was also then murdered. This seems to parallel with the death of Bruce Wayne's father, because after that, Tubal-Cain became an inventor, "the forger of every sort of tool of copper and iron." Likely with vengance in his heart. That's what Bruce Wayne did.

There are some other parallels of Marvel comics that relate to modern history which may or may not be of concern to us. For example, Iron Man, Tony Starks, was based on the background story of Howard Hughes, who become an inventor at a young age, but he was more so shaped around Hughe's employee, John Whitesides Parsons, also known as Jack Parsons. He was born on October 2, 1914. (uh oh. . Creepy) . . . He was a revolutionary rocket engineer, who shaped the world of the weapons industry. . . In fact if you see his photo, you'll realise how closely he resembles Tony Starks in the movie. But here's the thing. Jack Parsons was steeped heavily into Thelema, and Satanic rituals in the occult, being a follower of Aleister Crowley.

It's not just super heroes that have these links tho - In the film 'The Green Mile' Stephen King was originally going to call John Coffey John Bamford or Bamforth. He then decided to change his name for the express reason that his initials became J.C. instead - he was considered to be a 'simple, uneducated person' with miraculous healing powers, who was wrongly accused and innocently put to death, and he also told Paul Edgecombe (Tom Hanks) to tell the Father that Paul and the guards weren't responsible for putting him to death, and it shouldn't be charged to his account. It's really a great film where the people in it each reap what they've sown. Sound familiar?

i so agree with you brother richard. it is so sad that in this old dying system we have to be wary of EVERYTHING. some may call it paranoia, but it seems to me that if we don't be "paranoid" about even the most subtle aspects of this world, we could easily fall victim to Satans "crafty acts". as things become more the "norm", it would be a shame to lose our standing with Jehovah over something that could have easily been avoided.

  • 2 years later...

I think it's interesting how things considered "inappropriate" 30-50 years ago are now just common in any form of entertainment...Imagine what it's going to be like during the great tribulation...The movies that shock us now will be minor compared to what's coming.. Sort of scary to think about.
