Biblical Riddle

Recommended Posts

I was told this years ago. Maybe it's been posted repeatedly or maybe you haven't heard it before.

Which Biblical character could rightly say this:

"Before I was a king, he was in subjection to me. Now I am a king, I am in subjection to him."

Please don't post the answer for a couple of days. Unless it's already widely known.

The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man. Ec 12:13

Wow, very clever riddle.  Never even occurred to me it could be a woman.  Wonder what the ratio of men is to women of the 144,000?  Might be interesting to find out someday.

Also, is it reasonable to believe that the prostitute who washed Jesus' feet with her tears and dried them with her feet is also in good probability one of the 144,000 now?  It's obvious she had faith he was the Christ or she wouldn't of done what she did, all she would have to do from that point is live longer than Jesus and be faithful to receive that reward, correct?

Don't live for the moment - live for the future! :D
