After 7 weeks I and my son and my brother are all glad my wife is back in the kitchen. I can survive cooking myself but my wife is a connoisseur cook which I have given that title 3 times to others in my last 40 years.

My wife and I share the cooking between us.

 

She usually does the baking (cakes, biscuits, roasts), stir-fry, currys, meat/3veg, stews and soups.

 

Whereas I do the BBQ, deep frying, pizza, lasagnas, seafood, one pan wonders, toasties and microwave cooking (such as meat pies, steaming etc).

 

We usually cook together on the weekends, or we do some large batches of cooking where I take meals to work to reheat, leaving us to have smaller quicker meals for the most of the time.

Some day, but I have to get from my step-daughter her recipe for caramel filled cinnamon donut muffins.

 

However, there is a waiting list.
