Google is tracking you

You know Google is tracking your every move, right?

If you own a mobile device, and have opted into location tracking in one or more of Google's many services, such as Google Photos or Google Now, the company is keeping a record of your past movements.

You can check the places you visited through a new feature in Google Maps, the aptly named Your Timeline. It lets you check where you were at any given time — like that pretzel shop that gave you refuge on a cold, wet December day a few years ago.

Google's location history — now replaced with Timeline — already offered all this data, daily and monthly, but in a less visually appealing and less curated format.

That is interesting.

Here is mine:

So long as it's tracking me can it help me remember where my RV's live? I am sure we can turn this into another tool we can use. But yeah Google tracks us, so does Apple. ( http://www.buzzfeed.com/jimwaterson/your-iphone-knows-exactly-where-youve-been-and-this-is-how-t#.pozNloRrN) This honestly doesn't bother me since I forget my phone 75% of the time anyway. That's always the easiest solution. Ditch the devices, sounds peaceful to me.

Just a side note, if we are banned, the authorities wouldn't need to pressure me for a list of names of friends in the congregation, they just look at my Goggle account contacts list.

The app I use to record my service activity will geotag my RV's

I kind of like that I can go back and look at all of that too.

Also, I use the "Find My Device" for my work iPhone/ iPad OFTEN

It is a very handy service.

Good point. Perhaps I shouldn't notate contacts with their responsibilities in the congregation.

I use the find my iPhone option as a find my wife option. It is a very handy service, indeed!

There is a Find A Wife option?

Single brothers everywhere are rejoicing. :D

What filtering options does it offer?

Well to start it only shows those who have the JW Library App installed and have checked into the Kingdom Hall for at least three consecutive years.
