I am major bummed.  

 

JW Library and JW Podcaster 2 have both informed me

that they are no longer compatible with my device.  

 

I've got a 7" Samsung Galaxy Tablet.  

It sounds like it's becoming obsolete in a big hurry.

 

I have no moo-lah to buy a state of the art device.

 

Which is why I am major bummed.  

 

Anybody else getting these messages?

JW Podcaster 2 stopped working for me a couple of weeks ago, there are a lot of reviews on the Google Play Store that a lot of people are having the same problem, so JW Podcaster 2 seems to be having it's own problems.

 

I have a 7" Samsung tablet that is several years old and I am not having any problems with the JW Library.

Ross..is that our JW Library app from the Branch? Or is that a JW Library app not from the Branch, but by another developer?

I got a KIndle Fire a few years ago, and have never got it to work . Husb just messed up the charging space on the HP tablet and it can not be charged again. We are no match for our kids when it comes to this stuff.

It is the Society's JW Library app.  

I wouldn't be so bummed if it was just any old app.

I forced a refresh on JW Podcaster 2 and all of the publications disappeared. It doesn't work on my phone, my tablet, my wife's phone. I think a lot of people are having the same problem with JWP2.

Hmmm... I haven't graduated to making regular use of my wife's tablet yet, but this is ominous...

She bought it at the end of 2012, so it's not all that old. I do feel that a 7" is a bit small, however, and I might be tempted to pick up a 10" to replace it when I travel next year.

I'll have to try to stay abreast of problems like this so I don't buy something that's about to be unusable.
