It's That Time of Year That Thieves Love the Most

Recommended Posts

(Just got this in my email box.  I checked Snopes, and it says it is true)

 VERY IMPORTANT!!!!

Feel this is worth passing along. With the  holidays coming up, this could be a real problem.

The newest virus circulating is the UPS/Fed Ex/USPS Delivery  Failure.

You will receive an e-mail from UPS, Fed Ex, or  USPS along with a packet number.

It will say that they were  unable to deliver a package sent to you on such-and-such a date.

It  then asks you to print out the invoice copy attached.

DON'T TRY TO PRINT THIS. IT LAUNCHES THE VIRUS!

Pass this warning on to all your PC  operators at work and home.

This virus has  caused Millions of dollars in damage in the past few days.

Snopes confirms that it is real.

Just another reminder; if you leave your service bag in your vehicle, someone may think it is a computer case and break into the vehicle to steal it. This happens all year but especially around Christmas. If you leave your service/meeting bags in your vehicle, keep them out of sight.

I heard of someone in the U.P. who would wrap his trash up in festive paper

and leave it in the back of his pickup.

Normally, garbage pickup tags are $2.50 per 40lb. bag, around these parts.

I doubt that he did it just to save money, though. ^_^

Sorry. Funny. Serves thieves right!

I want to age without sharp corners, and have an obedient heart!
