JW.ORG - AAC Audio Files Discontinued

I assume they would have some sort of record of how often AAC and MP3 files are downloaded.  Maybe AAC are not downloaded as much, compared to mp3.  It would be one less thing for the brothers to do.  When you think its not just one audio recording, but an recording in many, many languages, these all take time to do and storage space and then double it for both mp3 and aac.  And mp3 is more universal than aac.

My thoughts exactly. AAC is hardly used, and mp3 rules the roost, lol. Every Apple device can play mp3s so it shouldn't matter, ESPECIALLY with regards to mere voice recordings.

 I agree with you. With MP3 it takes much more time to use with iTunes, which I listen to with ipod.
