Hi there,

I'm trying to organize a song for the children in my congregation for our foreign delegates coming to our assembly this summer.  I would like the children to learn the first/last line from the song MEMORIZING the books of the bible in CROATIAN (one of the languages of our guests).  I downloaded the song in Croatian

Croatian

But need someone to write the words for the last line out pheonetically.  The last line in English is "THE BIBLE IS THE GREATEST BOOK OF ALL" and I can't tell how to pronounce the words in Croatian.

Is there anybody here that speaks Croatian or can ask one of the croatian speaking friends that can write out this line for me?

Thanks in advance!!

Umm I can speak Croatian but i have no idea how to transliterate the words into English...

I'll just give you the Croatian words as they are.

"Riječ božja knjiga najbolja je znaj
Jehova nam je dao nju na dar
? ? ? ? čitajmo je svi jer daje mudrost vi
Rječ božja kniga najbolja je znaj"

That's the entire chorus. Even I can't understand one word so i put question marks instead :D

Wow that's great Brother Andrej

... okay well the only thing they will be singing is the last line

Rječ božja kniga najbolja je znaj

YESH  BOJAK   NEE-GA   NABOL  YA  YE-ZY

me singing  the line (does this sound about right)?

I know I'm asking a lot but could you click here and record the one line

http://vocaroo.com/

- after when  you  "click to save" right at the bottom of the page the recorder automatically creates a link (you'll see it right at the bottom of the page)  which you can cut and paste here in the reply.

Thanks so much!!!

I can't seem to connect to the website.

It should sound something like this.

Ree-yech   Bozh-ya   Knee-Gha   Nay-Boy-Lya   Ye   Znay.

Does this even make sense at all?

The problem with the slavic languages for the rest of the world, is that we read every letter by itself. So each letter is its own sound. You read exactly as it's written. You can search on google for the croatian alphabet, listen to each letter individually and make up the words as they are written.
