Okay, Lynn - good one! But how about XANTHICUS from the King James Version!

The rules only state from post one: "The new word must be from the Bible or a Theocratic word... " It does not state one translation or version over another.

Where in the King James is the word "XANTHICUS"? It does not appear in Strong's Exaustive Concordance or Strong's Concise Concordance nor Young's Concordance.

I did find the word in the Catholic Douay at 2 Macc 11:30,33,38. Xanthicus corresponds to the month Nisan of the Jewish calendar. Apocryphal writings are not an accepted part of the Bible, unless you are Catholic of course.

I would highly recommend that from now on that only the NWT be used because it is not very likely that all playing the game have concordances to the King Jimmy or any other Translation or Version. Not having those resources would make "word challenges" very difficult.
