I do not think I have actually introduced myself, since joining this group.

My name is Steve. I have been baptised for 20 years (REALLY!!!! THAT LONG?!?!?)

I am attending the Great Hollands Congregation in Bracknell, England, UK. I would like to move back to the Japanese Congregation in North London but my dream is to help out in an English Congregation in Japan....possibly Yokohama.

That's all you're getting from me for now. If you want to know more....well, that is just plan nosy and intrusive....LOL! I Jest....Please ask me anything.

Agape

Steve.

OK, How much money do you make? Do you own your own home? Do you have a savings account and how much money is in it? Do you own a boat? How big? Just kidding.......................Seriously, answer the questions!:raspberry:

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.

Haaa, Japan... i'm going to Japan in december for 1 month (holidays :loopy: ).

I will show my little baby girl to the family of my wife.

I should be out there next year, Hopefully spring time. Wnt to go Hanami with friends out there.

Is your wife Japanese, then?

My Japanese friend wants me to marry her daughter. We will see what happens.

I've never done HANAMI.

You lucky !

Yes, my wife is japanese, from Osaka.

About your friend and her daughter, i hope she can speak english... international marriage are not easy.

Pray Jehovah about it... this is a big challenge... and communication is twice more important in these case. You'd better start learning japanese... (tu)

And do some research about "honne" and "tatemae" (which is one of the key of communication in Japan).

I know Japanese (and I am still learning) but it is almost a second language now :) Which is why I used to be in the Japanese Congregation in North London. But had to leave due to financial problems. I lost my job so could no longer afford to travel there :(

When I am with my friends in Japan or when I talk to them on the phone or communicate via e-mail, it is in Japanese. So I am not too bad. Like I said (in the PM I sent you) when I go to Japan, I attend the Japanese congregation, Sakurayama, in Zushi-shi.
