In the news today was a story that talked about the growing influence of the Russian Orthodox Church in Russia, and how even athiests are now feeling the pressure.

It's worth comparing this to an article from two years ago.

Here's the most interesting point:

Quote

“The Kremlin has used this to its advantage, so effectively portraying support for Putin’s government as a religious duty that the church is now seen as part of the state apparatus.”

As a result, most other religious minorities in Russia are being sidelined or outlawed. The church gets total dominion over the land, and in return they keep the countrymen loyal. Not a new tactic, I grant you, and one that has never worked in the long term.

It's like catching cold or flu ... who plans specifically to get sick let's say on 17 May 2017 ?

Well, this system of things will catch a "cold" when Jehovah "downloads the virus" into their hearts regardless who is in power and policies they follow!

Man was created as an intelligent creature with the desire to explore and understand :)
