Conscription in Sweden

Sweden is pretty much one of the most liberal countries in Europe. If they implement conscription they will certainly implement a parallel civilian service alternative to those who refuse military service as consientious objectors. I can't imagine otherwise.

I read a news article the other day about this that said both men and women 18 and older will be included.... I pray they give the brothers & sisters an alternative they can actually accept....

No worries! I live in Sweden,. They only take those who are motivated and willing to it. Never heard of anyone the last 20-30 years that was forced to do military service and getting punished by refusing to do so. Not even having to pay a fine.
