I just discovered that Amazon.com has a charity promotion that allows you to choose a charitable organization and every time you make a purchase, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to the charitable organization that you have chosen. I made a search for Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and I was able to select it. Apparently, Amazon will check with the organization to see if they want to register to participate, so I'm not sure if ultimately it will work, but at least I started the process. The way this works is that you must go to smile.amazon.com and search for your charitable organization. I did this and found "Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Then, you proceed to make your purchases.

I'm not trying to promote Amazon.com here nor am I affiliated with them in any way. I just wanted to share this with others just in case others would like to look into this and if they wish to make a personal decision to use this "Smile" program, they can.

It works and is an acceptable method of contributing. I signed up for it a year ago.

If you do a search on the forum you should find an old thread where this was discussed
