Nothing surprising I suppose. Never watched it, didn't want to hear the usual stuff from ex witnesses, but saw the article, if that's what it can be called,  on the BBC website.

Pointless to even respond to it or even think about it to be honest. People will believe whatever suits them regardless of the actual truth at this time.

It might just be me, but I have noticed that apostates and ex-witnesses become very active around convention season.    Trouble with disfellowshipped ones is they want to have their cake and eat it.  They want to go to the meetings and have fellowship, but also want to carry on their wrongdoing and don't see why they can't do both.  So they go on TV shows and to the newspapers to tell how a bad people we are.

Since this is not about any specific news article, but, rather, a general topic about seeing opposers on TV, we've moved it to general discussion. Carry on.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.
