Travel around the world game

Recommended Posts

Rules:

Find the exact location of the above post, then post a new location of your choosing within a 30 mile radius of that location (walking distance for a day), and the next poster will post within a 30 mile radius of the new location you provided. Use this method to gradually circumnavigate the globe ~ a player wins by returning to the exact original location after circumnavigating the globe. Special rule for when traveling over seas/oceans: You may change the 30 miles to 600 miles when traveling over seas/oceans (traveling by ship), but the above location must be on the coast to begin traveling over water, and when we reach land again the first land location must also be on the coast, and then travel returns to up to 30 miles while on land.

Also, you must take turns, and cannot post consecutively by yourself, but must wait for at least one other person to post before you can post again.

Let's get started...

Starting location:

221B Baker Street, Marylebone, London. (This is the original starting location for this round, and where you must end up again to win)

Latitude and Longitude:

51.523772, -0.158538

GPS coordinates:

51° 31' 25.5792'' N
0° 9' 30.7368'' W

Safe travels!

Are you near Sherlock home's centre?

The game begins in Sherlock Holmes' house, and we travel from there. Once we have circumnavigated the globe, whoever returns to Sherlock Holmes' house wins the game. After that we can start at another location if you wish.

You can take a turn by posting the location of a place of your choosing that is within a 30 mile radius of the above location, which is still currently Sherlock Holmes' house. The location you post will be the next location someone has to travel within 30 miles from.
