Show of hands...Who wants to live in a lava tube?

A potential human habitat on the moon?

A large open lava tube in the moon’s Marius Hills region could protect astronauts

from hazardous conditions on the lunar surface.

It might someday be a good spot for a city on the moon.

This reminds me of something my son said once.  We lived in modern 4 bedroom house, then we decided to cut back and we moved into a mobile home. Not long after we came to Alaska and at the time there was nowhere to live, but we found a quonset hut for sale and finished into a cozy,, warm home. My son remarked that at the rate we were going, our next home would be a tunnel!  Maybe we should have looked for a lava tube!   We lived in our "tunnel" for 7 years and hated to give it up but when we moved out, my son and his family moved in.
