This guy Jay Black, had the voice back in the 60s. Here he is 40 years later and he hasn’t lost much. Do not attempt to sing along with this song. But if you do, send me a copy of it. :lol1:

Jay and the Americans......Cara Mia

Same singer 40 years earlier. Love this little Ballad.      Come a little bit closer.

I don’t know how I forgot about Big head Todd and the Monsters.  Seriously though, these guys are good. I seen them at a small venue years ago.

Great guitarist and singer. You’ll want your headphones on. This is a really good sounding band.

Forever man

Another great song. Todd got a haircut.

its alright

I’ll throw in another great song as a bonus, no extra charge. If you don’t like it, I’ll double your money back. But you’ll like it.

Bittersweet

Now for a kingdom song 😁... I think we all know the name if this one. I think it’s in Portuguese.

I debated posting this song for a while now because of the beelzebub part. Please excuse it...

Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

Bohemian Rhapsody is said to be the best song ever written and was completely different from anything that had been written before it, that somehow "was all in Freddie's mind" before he wrote it. So, that's the thing. It's hard for me to believe that the best song ever written, so different from anything before it just happened to come into Freddie Mercury's mind all on his own. Especially since he was into drugs, which would have made him vulnerable to demonic influence. When I hear it, it makes me think of the plight of the demons facing eternal destruction, and their anger over their impending judgment, and no matter how much I just want to enjoy listening to the song, I can't help thinking that. So, it's probably just me, but maybe others have wondered the same thing.

I think stairway to heaven is the best song ever written. I think I read some years ago that Robert Plant admitting writing that song high on marijuana. I had many worldly friends who would tell me that drugs enhanced their creativity. There have been some musicians who put out terrible music after they went sober. It’s the sad truth. I don’t worry about it as long as the song isn’t encouraging drug use.

By the way... although I think the lyrics to stairway to heaven are more artistic, I think bohemian rhapsody had a better overall production with the transitions and everything in it.

Unsure why people think that. The song never pays tribute to Beelzebub or evil, I see it as man suffering the plight of the world and being afraid what Satan has installed for him next.

Sing for us one of the songs of Zion.—Ps. 137:3.

I am always reminded of this song when reading Ps 137.3
