We recently started using Territory Helper. We drew all the maps and began to fill in the house locations and numbers. Everything was going along grand until I realized that the kingdom hall was not where it was supposed to be on the map. When I went to check the address, it had the correct address. I edited the field to re-type the address. The address did not show up in the drop down window of suggested addresses. I saved the changes and the site acknowledged the save. When I went back to the territory page, it was still not in the correct location.

I changed the map view to "Here" which shows the house numbers and navigated to the location of our hall. All the surrounding addresses were populated but not the kingdom hall. We have been at that location for decades, I don't believe that is the issue. I have tried to contact TH support and have thus far been unsuccessful in getting any kind of response.

Thanks for any help,

Sam

Sometimes in any maps, I search the place manually because address doesn't help :)

True! How many times has GPS been a half mile short, and then there is a little bit of searching to find the location. I recently went to a new build for the LDC and the GPS was off by over a mile.

I suppose because the territory is in our KH, we all know where the KH is located, true. However, when the friends are trying to figure out a territory that is close to the hall, it is nice to have that location icon as a reference point. The location of the hall is on the map filter that overlays satellite, but the address is not recognizable by the site's software and there is no other way to determine the location of the hall except to search for the intersecting road.Oddly enough, I can put a house icon there and label it as the address, so that's something. :)

Too, we want the KH to be highlighted when we print out the territory map for the meeting room. Right now we have a map with a big red permanent marker "X" locating the hall.

Thanks for the reply and for the smiley face, it is welcome in the early morning hours.
