Samsung Note 10.1 2014 P-600 update

Recommended Posts

My Samsung P-600 is no longer supported with updates by Samsung. It is good enough for me use for all my meeting needs, but it is limited.

I found this online. Before I jump in and do this, I'm calling for comments. I really don't have the cash to replace it should I turn it into a brick!

Here is the I info. I have not heard of anyone successfully doing this. Should I be the first?

I would definitely take note of that:

Rooting/Unlocking/Installing custom ROMs and Kernels are not official methods. So, neither device manufacturer nor Droid Word team is responsible if anything goes wrong with your device during the process. You can continue with the implementation at your own risk.

Humor follows:

Another unsafe method is to try to cram pack of  real Oreo's into the device hoping to upgrade ...LOL   :lol1:

I did 'jailbreak' my S5. Still working, although not a polished patch that I got.

What concerns me about this one, is that I cannot find 1 person that actually has done it.... That worries me!
