JW library glitch

Hi, 

We've just sat and done our watchtower Pre-study for this week (Poor hubby has lost his voice, so used the app to read this week), but every time it would read a paragraph, this message pops up. I'd rather avoid having to get rid of the app and redownloading as I've got a lot on the app, so any advice please? I'm not a techy! 😂

Hiya, have judt tried both methods, but it still seems to happen.

Sr. Hannah, there is always the little "refresh" button at the top of the home page.  It may not be much but it is worth a try.

I'm in the same boat. Have noticed this for months on my Galaxy Note 8. It only happens when I play audio files. I, too, am reluctant to reinstall (plus I tried it a long time ago and it didn't work). I'm hoping a coming update will fix it. For now, I use Poweramp to listen to music.

Same here. It happens when I play audio files. It appears that the three of us use Samsung products...

Samsung issues their own custom version of Android and that can cause troubles. I came across similar problem with customised version of android. Lesson learned - buy clean, stock version of Android next time.

Mine either stops after 1 audio file, resetting to home page or crashing. Sent a bug report. Happens in my lg.

Are the audio files already downloaded or are they being streamed via internet connection?

Mine are downloaded. I have been waiting for an update to the app so I really hadn't paid much attention to the problem, however I think I will experiment a little. I wonder if it's a problem with the SD card the files are on, so I plan to download several audio files directly to the device and see if the problem still exists.
