Church of England releases guidance saying sex is for married heterosexual couples only
According to an article in The Guardian, the Church of England has issued pastoral guidance that says "Sexual relationships outside heterosexual marriage are regarded as falling short of God’s purposes for human beings." The guidance is in response to the recent introduction of mixed-sex civil partnerships in the UK.

".people don't want to be meddled in their lives."  Ha ha , so they are just asked to leave, you're too old, get out! Go some where else!  🧐

A church made headlines for allegedly asking older members to leave. But the reality is more complicated

The C of E does not permit same-sex marriage. It allows clergy to be in same-sex civil partnerships as long as they are sexually abstinent.

If this was a stand for bible standards, it was a weak one as it was essentially saying two homosexual clergy can live together and benefit from the legal status of being a couple (similar to being married) as long as they don't have actually have sex with each other.

In any case even as I read it, I  suspected they will have to backpeddle for  saying sex belongs within the confines of a heterosexual marriage.  The present moral climate can never tolerate such declarations.  To date,  it seems the Church if England Bishops have formally apologised for the statement or at least for the "hurt" that according to them it caused but typical of Babylon that always tries to play both sides of the field hasnt actually stated whether or not they still hold to their original position or not.
