Do the pubs need to be converted to Mobi?  The Amazon app store supports the JW Library for direct installation.

i have a kindle paperwhite, not a fire tablet. it doesn’t support apps. it doesn’t need to be a mobi file, epub or pdf works too.

There is a free program named calibre. If you have a desktop (or laptop) computer you can download calibre to your computer. You can use it to convert files from epub to mobi. Once converted you can email the files to your kindle.

You can also send text files to your kindle. I do that a lot. I would prefer to use MOBI files.

An update 3 years later.

The Kindle can process other types of files that you send to the Kindle.  I sent Microsoft Word files to the Kindle, which were processed and ended up being Kindle files.

I use ChatGPT to write short stories or even books and novels.  I put them in Microsoft Word and then emailed them to my old Kindle I purchased in 2012.  It gives me something to read later.

I have books on alternate energy (17).  I have science fiction short stories written in the style of Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, and Arthur C Clarke. (20 of each, 80 total).  I have science fiction mystery novels written in the style of Mickey Spillane (2).  I have science fiction novels written in the style of Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Ray Bradbury, and Robert Heinlein.
