Escapism vs last days

Recommended Posts

Escapism - the avoidance of reality by absorption of the mind in entertainment or in an imaginative situation, activity, etc.

As last days become more and more wicked, many of us "can't swallow reality" anymore. (just look at the news)

Therefore expression Escapism comes to my mind, as I know many resort to this option in order to "cope" with the system.

Even myself I have noticed the need from time to time to "escape" reality" and just watch TV series, read a book or play a game. (just switch off)

Apart from spiritual activities which of course are primary things in our lives,  do you resort to "escapism" to cope with last days?

Man was created as an intelligent creature with the desire to explore and understand :)

My entire lifestyle is "escapism" lol. The things you described is what I do 24/7, along with music and dance too of course. Though I'll often have a strong opinion or thoughts on world events, I don't really read too much into them, because it's all worthless. All I need to know are the signs of the Last Days and to be in contact with my spiritual family and friends.

I have watched some of marvel heroes (guilty) as my escapism..I realized I don't like the story.. Just interested some handsome and pretty characters..

chatting with my friends (sisters) about whats happening around the world ... listening and encouraging one another .... A sister is losing her job and her husband...

I just love chatting that sometimes I lost my time for preaching.

I love music too.
