Byron Allen was in high school when he got invited to give a comedy sketch  on the tonight show with Johnny Carson. Mr. Allen owns Allen media group. Made a billion with his mother and owns many tv court shows and "Funny you should ask."

Here in Canada (and in the UK), a legislative assembly in the provincial and national capitals is called a parliament.

So is a group of galahs here in Australia is called at times a parliament too. Although they can called: a giggle, a mob, a cacophony or a pandemonium.

 

Apparently some cannot differentiate the sqwarking of a galah bird to that of a speech of an Australian politician.

 

But I do like that a flock of owls is called a parliament. It sounds as though a form of government is made up of wise ones. It would be a hoot to be part of one.

Canada is the location, is not operated by the Canadian Government, but by producers.
 

Here are the main reasons why Quebec Maple Syrup Producers (QMSP) in Quebec maintain the so-called Global Strategic Maple Syrup Reserve:

 

• To stabilize supply when weather or tree-conditions reduce production. 

• To stabilize market price, preventing wild swings from bumper years or poor harvest years. 

• To ensure the domestic & export markets are supplied even if a given season is weak. 

• Because Quebec produces a large majority of the world’s maple syrup (~70 %+), so a disruption there would have wide‐spread effects. 

• To act as a buffer much like other strategic reserves in commodities — so production, storage and sales can be better managed.

Yup. As a genuine, full-bred Canadian (and Quebecer), I can absolutely guarantee that we do make maple syrup here. I have personally seen the trees that we get it from!
