For some odd reason I'm register to vote when I didn't even register. Had this happen to others?

I have never registered to vote for my entire life and have never been notified, it just may be some scam someone is using on you! I did find this article -

In many states you can select an option to "register" when you renew your driver license -  some states have reversed this option and now you have to select the option to "not" be registered ... but, they do not advertise this change to any extent because they hope people won't notice the change.
