I got this email from my cell phone data provider. I am a top 1% user.

I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad.

I've been with them about 10 months, so I use about 91GB a month.

If you don't have a wifi, that amount of data is pretty reasonable.

Just think of Zoom meetings. A group meeting in Zoom consumes a couple GB per hour. Our meetings are four hours a week, sixteen hours a month = 32 GB just for meetings. Not to mention time spent in service, time spent chatting after the meeting and other videocalls you make. Add to that the monthly broadcast and the videos we watch at the meetings, plus morning worship and other videos.

Everything that includes video uses a huge amount of data.

That's reasonable, you're probably using it to watch some other video streaming service besides Zoom, Disney+ I'm guessing. ๐Ÿ˜ธ I'm surprised your cell data actually allows you that much, usually they start throttling the speeds after 25GB or so even on 'unlimited' plans, at least in the US. Must be an Aussie thing.

Yes, it's a user-pay system.I pay for the data I use. While they don't throttle on this carrier, cell carriers don't guarantee quality of service either. (That's only on fixed lines.) The most I used was 130 GB for one month. During Nov, we Zoomed at least once a day - everyday - to host a FS group. About 6 weeks leading to November we zoomed everyday to get all the territory and phone numbers sorted. And we used 2 devices/screens to double our through-put.
I was still surprised how much I used.
