He also said that vaccination is a personal decision for each individual to make.

So, then, if in-person meetings are predicated on vaccination , will only those vaccinated be allowed?

This makes me wonder if individual Bethel family members are invited to leave if they decline vaccination?  I can't imagine that at all.  And I think we would have heard about it , which we haven't.

Not picking on Doug....

Can we return this topic to more general rules?  We have other topics where we discuss covid protocols within the congregation.

There are too many covid topics and it's getting confusing what was said where and when

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

Brother Morris even stated last year that resuming in person congregation meetings were predicated on an effective vaccine being produced and distributed.

So loosening restrictions is directly tied to vaccination.

Those are not the words Bro Morris used.  He said " many experts say we may be dealing with the spread of this virus for some time until the successful treatments and vaccinations become widely available possibly in 2021 or beyond. This means the adjusted arrangements we have in place for congregation meetings, assemblies and the field ministry may need to continue for some time.  When we do begin returning to our normal arrangements it will be a gradual process."

Your words make it sound like a person will need to get the covid jab to go to the KH!

Actually, I didn’t quote Morris. I paraphrased him.

And no. I don’t believe I suggested vaccines would be mandatory.

To stop the spread of covid, you don’t need 100% vaccine compliance anyway.

I think typically, if you vaccinate 7 of 10 people, you successfully break the chain of transmission. And many people never had COVID and have never spread it.

So I think the brothers are looking at cases numbers as a good measuring stick in unison with vaccination rates.

But mandatory vaccination are off the table for Witnesses.
