Watchtower Conductor audio issues

Hi Every time our Watch Conductor starts to speak his audio is at a low volume for approximately 2 to 3 seconds then it suddenly gets louder to the normal volume level he has set it at.

 

He has bought a new external microphone but the issue was still the same. The microphone is plugged into a Laptop.

 

Every other person who answers at the Watchtower their volume stays the same throughout their answer so is it a setting on the conductors ipad or could it maybe be a setting on the zoom hosts computer ? 

 

 

Any help to solve this long running mystery would be appreciated !

This is the audio setting box on my PC

 

 

 

As you can see, Zoom has an audio setting for "Automatic" volume control of the microphone. This can be turned off (uncheck the box) and set the volume manually and it will no longer start at one volume an adjust to another

 

He may want to check this setting.

 

It may be that, due to his processor or memory, his computer takes a few seconds do adjust the automatic volume - setting a static volume should eliminate this issue.

The auto volume for the microphone never worked well for me either,  I turned it off.
