HELP Understand new files numbers

Can someone please explain the new file numbers after video. Example: jwb-081-2.v. I like to add year and date to morning worship files as references.

I am not sure if this will help with your dating, but here is what the numbers mean.  The explanation is brief and the whole URL is not given because of the moderators instructions about locating the videos (even though these numbers have been fully released and documented for 4 months).

If you are storing them for viewing with 3rd party software (not JWL) you should be able to rename the file whatever you want to - you do not have to keep the original filename for storage

 

I rename them according to what they are - like Morning Worship I would name something like "Morning Worship 10-5-2021.mp4" and keep them in a folder named "Morning Worship" under "downloads" or "documents" or "videos" or maybe under "JW Broadcasting"

Ok you said 08 is June, how did you know that?  Thats the part that was confusing me.  It use to be the year and month.

The June number was 081.  Three digits. It is not related to the month number.  The month of May was 080 and our current month of October is 083.  These are just storage numbers (not related to a month or year).  Sis, do you see the "xxx" out URL with the red circle showing "081"?  Look at the list of videos under that designation.  They are all released in June, 2021.  That is how I know which videos have an "081" number (and they are in June).

 

You had asked..."please explain the new file numbers" so that is what I tried to do.  They don't help you find a date or time, I'm sorry.  It was just an explanation why these numbers exist.

Thank you both for your help. I understand now. I have all the morning worships in folders by the Bible books.  My husband ask when the one for last night night was considered, and that is why I had the question. Before, it was easy to know the month and year. Now with the 08 numbers I was lost.  Thanks for your help.
