Zoom Meeting Invite.

We have a sister in our congregation that has a mother on hospice. She’s not able to attend our Sunday meeting at 10:00 am PST. If we could find her an English meeting a at least 4 hours later, she would to attend. if this is something you can help make happen please DM me. Thanks!!

There could be a tech solution for this. 

1 she has a device that can be remote into with good internet connection 

2 have some one record meeting and edit out prayers 

3 upload recording onto the other device or cloud storage 

4 person can watch anytime they want, either with remote assistance or person does it on their own.

There is a provision in place for ones who cannot make their own meeting to watch a pre record meeting through JW Stream.  Ask one of your elders for details on how this can be done. 

 

Since it's pre recorded, she won't be able to participate in the Watchtower.

Or she could attend the meeting in a different congregation and participate with comments and association.

But if someone isn't techy enough to know how to make such an edit, it's really not a big deal. This isn't a rule of any kind.

We had someone in this position. She likes to comment rather than just hear a meeting. Our congregation co-ordinator went on JW.ORG website and looked for the congregations in a larger area around us.

 

Some shared Kingdom Halls, not so far away had still got later meeting times listed there and a phone number. They rang the number and found one that still had kept to the later meeting time and the overseer - with permissions from ours' - gave the sister the zoom codes for them, so she could comment and be part of breakout rooms as well as hearing the meeting while in hospital.
