Mic boom poles

Hello everyone, our hall doesn’t have any mic poles and I was hoping someone could recommend something that is of good quality but not overly expensive.

 

All thoughts appreciated!

Years ago we used pool ques.

We have actual mic booms, but I have seen broom handles used

We used telescopic handles for paint rollers, but modded the end to house the microphone holder onto it. It allows you the lengthen or shorten the pole to suit you needs.

Most halls us wireless mics so you can ignore the choices that have internal cords.  Check to see if the microphone mount adapter is included for the end to hold the mic.  It may need to be ordered separately.  The telescoping variety are quite popular (for storage).

 

Our center section of hall seats are 8 seats wide.  So we bought 3-section telescoping poles that can extend to a max of about 8 feet.  We usually do not need anything longer than 6-7 feet in our case,.
