Peace and Security, Great Tribulation, Armageddon

Recommended Posts

While I want the suffering of the innocent and pillaging of this planet to stop, and am desperate for True Worship to be restored in a physical sense, one can't help feeling sad for those lost to Satan's world. But too, there is comfort knowing Jehovah won't leave any who belong to him behind.

May Jehovah’s will be done.

We must not forget that Iron and Clay does not mix. Daniel 2:41 - 43.

And that will continue, according to that prophesy, until that stone hits the feet.

Yes, many are saying the world is broken. Well, it's not going to get better is it? At least not yet.

They eventually will have to empower UN to maintain international order

Jehovah will make them do that

Yes. That's why I said ... not yet.  Satan is going to be one unhappy camper.

Quote

“The ten horns that you saw mean ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings for one hour with the wild beast.  13 These have one thought, so they give their power and authority to the wild beast.  14 These will battle with the Lamb, but because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, the Lamb will conquer them. Also, those with him who are called and chosen and faithful will do so.”

Does this indicate that once the nations give their power to the UN they will never get it back?

Yes. Once Jehovah steps in, Satan has lost control ... it will signal that the GT is here.

Yes, but I'm talking about the time period from the destruction of BtG until Armageddon.

The destruction of BTG IS the start of the Great Tribulation.

I think you're missing my point. I'm discussing a time period, you are discussing a moment.

I am missing your point ... I apologize.

I too, am discussing a time period. The final time period.

Starting with Jehovah making ALL the kings relinquish power to the UN,

Then the Peace & Security which will have 'little or no time' between the beginning of the GT with the destruction of BBTG.

There is a middle part of the GT, then the end part of The Great Tribulation that culminates in Armageddon. (Which just prior the remnant go home to help fight).

It's all one time period with different phases.

I apologize again if I don't understand what you mean.

Aren't GT and the destruction of BTG concomitant? Isn't it the destruction of BTG that gives rise to the start of GT?

Agreed on all points.

While I was listening to the Annual meeting I was wondering to myself if the Nations would leave the UN after they destroyed BtG, but the scripture I cited seems to indicate that the UN, with all the Nation's support, is what will be destroyed by Jesus, which seems to indicate they will not get their sovereignty back. Hence my question:

Aah gotcha.

Thanks for the clarification.

Perhaps they may leave if 2 factors weren't in play, 1. The fact Jehovah is driving it and 2. Without knowing the exact time, there may not be enough time for them to do anything.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that 'one thought' that makes them relinquish control is that same thought that moves them to Armageddon.

If your question is "Do the nations take the decision to permanently hand over their national sovereignty to the UN?"

That's unknown.  But, if yes, that would effectively be the birth of one world government.  And it could be argued that is exactly what Satan wants; one united world government under his control.

So, it would be ironic that Satan's grand plan would result in the destruction of his entire religious, political and commercial system of things!

Jackson said, starting at 1:14 "There will come a time when all the political powers on earth will see that they need to collectively pool their power by giving it to the UN to try and solve some of the problems in the world".

So, there's a reason they do it.  Jehovah puts the thought to do it in their minds, but they themselves do it for reasons that make sense to them.

Therefore, their decision to do it most likely is intended for certain reasons and they see it as a temporary, but necessary, selfish strategy.

It's not what Satan wants though. Jehovah has moved this by planting the one thought into all the Kings. Satan is being forced to move into the situation by Jehovah.

Which you quoted further down in that quote. Jehovah is at this stage putting the 'hook' into the jaws of Satan.

I have no idea what their motives will be or how long they expect it to last, but since Jesus is described as destroying it, then it sounds like, even if they wanted to, they wouldn't exit the UN during the GT. Once they join, they'll never leave.

Forgive me, dear Sister Amanda😘. I had the impression that you were saying that there was a delay between the two, that's why I didn't understand.

If I come across Mr. Google one of these days I'll give him a hard time...

And  France  .  .     A vote of no-confidence is due in a few days.  The result is inevitable.

This doesn't mean martial law or anything.  But a failed government with no budget moving on to uncharted waters.

In other words ~ a mess.  And France is a member of the UN Security Council   :facepalmpo2:

I confirm, Brother Doug. France is in a very bad state.

No ... there is a middle phase which I assume is the judging and the remnant leaving earth. But that can happen quickly, so it's an indeterminate time frame.

It's all coming together isn't it!! As in the pieces are falling into place perfectly.

Remember even we will be surprised, not that it's happening,  but how suddenly it happens.
