What Daniel thinks is irrelevant to your faith. Prove to yourself what the Bible says about this topic. Asking others for their personal opinions is good, but no one is the master over your faith. Grace, don't be scared. The GT may start tomorrow, or maybe it will still take some time. Nobody knows and it doesn't really matter. Just strengthen your relationship with Jehovah. Pray, read the Bible daily, attend meetings and make strong friendships in your congregation. Meditate on those occasions when Jehovah helped you when you were in distress. He loves you and will take care of you. Everything will be ok.

Grace, we are close, very, very close.  Thats why as Jehovah's people we can feel the nearness of it.  Isa. 30:15b.....

We are all in this together.  We ALL feel it.  Soon, we will be on the other side of this mess.

Yes, it is close because the prophecies confirm this, but we must take the time lightly, let's focus on helping people, there is no need to be afraid or anxious, Jehovah is in charge and he will not disappoint his people!

I have also recently started to wonder what it will be like in the GT. It feels like it has become so bad now that I wonder how it will be when its much worse. 
In just one year the criminality has increased dratically in my country. I live in Sweden and it has always been quite safe. Kids that are 13-14 years old now are involved in gang conflicts and shoot and place bombs outside other criminals och relatives to kill them. This happens almost every day. Sometimes they take the wrong house and kill wrong people. These young kids also gets tortured and murdered. 
The economy has changed a lot, everything gets more and more expensive. My friend works in a school and she says that they hardly get any leftovers any longer in the school kitchen. On fridays and mondays the kids eat extra much. 
All the insecurity in the world has made my colleauges at work stop watching the news because they cant do anything about it anyways, it just makes them feel bad. People are so stressed and pressured and gets more and more angry ond grumpy. 
and the news… its sick what is happening in for example Gaza. 
And the witnesses I know, we are all so very tired now and are on our last drop of energy. This year has been the worst for me with one thing after another. I see a big difference in the magnitude of things becoming worse. 
We often talk about this in my congregation, both from the podium and between eachother that we are very close now and we have to be ready.

Brother Sanderson said "Are you ready?" We need to remember the four tips in order to be ready. That helps us to be not overly anxious for the coming GT. 

 

Are our go bags ready?

Do we already have evacuation plan, your own plan or elders plan?

Do you have a plan to secure your spiritual food? 

Do you memorized already some bible text and songs that strengthen our faith?

 

Hope we are all ready.

We must review what was the life of Jeremiah, He lives during GT (607 BCE) we can get some lessons from that.

Women  are being raped and killed in my country. because porn is more rampant these days? most likely. 

Due to the inflation, I live from paycheck to paycheck. Its hard to save money. We drastically changed our budget. eat basic food such as more on veggies instead of meat or processed meat.  

We often cook at home. I only eat out once a week or twice but choose the most affordable, not a fine dine. 

 

I dont have savings and to be honest, Im anxious but these days Im learning to rely on Jehovah each day.  The GT will be worse. Jah will do miracles. 

 

In my experience,  I never lack anything even though I was jobless before. He always compensate. 

I can 2 jobs so I can save money. but better to apply mat 6:33

Everything that is  happening is because ALL prophecies are being fulfilled.  Look up 2Timothy 3:1-5 and do the research on each of the verses.   It is exactly what is happening now.

 

Don't look at the storm!  Look towards Jehovah.  Stay busy in His work.  Study, pray, preach.  There is little to no time left to this system.
