Everything Natural Hair

I hope me posting this doesn’t strike a nerve, since it would probably be better received coming from another black sister than from me. If it does strike a nerve, please forgive your brother. I just thought what she had to say was so good 😊

And to any who struggle with homosexual tendency, i do apologize. I am not intentionally being insensitive. Im just saying Its the times we live in.

Cushi likes beautiful women with hair. As do i.

Hey Cushi,

All I know is I'm just glad you are a man that likes women.

In this day and age that has become rare. 🤣

What do you think about brothers who straighten their hair? There are some brothers (men) who don't like having curly hair and use straighteners. What do you think?

I think it looks ridiculous if I’m honest, I’ve even seen men on TV straightening their beards 😆

I’m not a black sister but I have corkscrew curls, I gave up straightening it over a year ago and since then it’s become more and more curly… when I was younger and before the age of hair straighteners I used to iron it on my mothers ironing board, I put it under brown paper and it worked but did look a bit stupid Lol

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

When I see men, particularly black men with straight hair, it looks like this to me 😆 On a serious note, I'm all for loving yourself the way God created you. I’ve never felt negatively about my kinky hair, (and I have 4c hair, the kinkiest type) never straightened it, and never will or do anything else to it to make it look less kinky (when I get back in the new world). I'm trying to change my opinionated ways, so I’ll leave it at that.

Media has conditioned me that if i see a black man with unnatural straight hair, he's either gay or a pimp.

However, i dont think I've ever seen a black man* with straightened hair in real life

*my ex wears a straight wig, however they also identify as a woman so do with that what you will.

Careful, I will derail and jump conversations like i was a pole jumper in the Olympics. Reply with caution🥺🤣

Locs are versatile if you have the time and energy for all that. Personally, I do not. It looks hot/ uncomfortable for sleeping, too..

It looks fine on those who like it but I would not like a brother with all that hair ('fro included). I like short, trim hair on men of every hair type.

Sisterlocks aren't...my mom had those for a while...

I may be tired and in pain :wheelchair: but I'll never   :surrender: to it just send some encouraging words or hugs  :kisscheek:  :encourage:  and I'll return the same   :kisscheek:  :encourage:

Don't those (I had to look them up) require professionals - at least for starting them and removing them?  The maintenance looks a bit stressful..

My ideal hair wouldn't need anyone doing much of *anything* to it (including me!) except a haircut every now and then. I don't have hair money - as it is, I haven't been able to afford a haircut since February 2024.. 😕

I've always favored thick locks on women, so I never cared for sisterlocks. But lately I've been seeing really nice sets on women. I found out recently that there's even a version of “sisterlocks” for black men called brotherlocks. They have are thicker and have a different grid pattern for a more masculine look.

I think this woman has a beautiful set of locks. Her daughter’s locks are nice too. If I can find a sister with locks like these, I’d be one happy man 😁
