Authenticator App on Hub.

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else used the Authenticator app or the biometric login on the JW hub?

I was quite impressed.

I did get a bit tired of always answering the same questions.

I hope this streamlines the login process. 😊

(PS I used the MS app)

I only stumbled on it today.

Yes and works very well   I used the Authy two factor authentication app.    https://authy.com/   or  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.authy.authy

It's been deployed to all as a more secure way to protect the sign in. You can sign out and try signing back in, or better go to incognito mode and try logging in

Thanks for those suggestions but in my case, after going to incognito mode it still asks the 2 questions... Maybe it's not deployed yet in Portugal (but we received a letter about it)

On your my.jw.org homepage, choose My User Account under the heading Account and Security. Within your personal profile, there should be an option Manage Two-Step Verification. See if that option exists for you.

I myself have chosen not to use the 2FA. Too lazy to look up my phone every time I try to login, and then have to remember the code again, and input it before it changes, just too much work. The security question works good for me.
