My thoughts as well.  Cheap , clean , limitless energy.  Surely that would be a phenomenal  development.

 

But then I remembered the system we live in.  Such technology would be dead-on-arrival if the gas/oil/coal  boys have anything to say about it.

Commercially not viable for years, or decades… or never in this system. So I assume this will not be part of PS a proclamation. They are still extremely far for this technology to work for everyday folks.

I say it again and again: let's also think about rationally using the existing, ecological techniques for energy production, such as wind energy, water power plants, geothermal energy, heat pumps, an ecological, efficient construction of housing, etc. necessary. 
In addition a certain modesty in our material thinking would be meaningful.
