Quote

How should we react to apostate teachings? Treat them as the poison they are! Never read them, reply to them, or repeat them. Be quick to detect information that is designed to raise doubts about Jehovah and his organization—and reject it!—Jude 3, 4.

So we will probably be done with the Live forever book by the end of September

Yes, it would appear so.

We could then follow the instructions in the Enjoy Life Forever! publication, in Lesson 60, page 252, and use one of the following two books for the Weekly Congregation Bible Study:

Long-Term Goal

Read the books Draw Close to Jehovah and “Come Be My Follower.” These publications will help you to continue making progress and drawing closer to your heavenly Father and his Son.

It should be noted though that....

Two of our publications have been updated (dated 2022) and one of them could be the choice.

The two updated publications are:

2022, “Bearing Thorough Witness” About God’s Kingdom (revised):

2022, Draw Close to Jehovah (revised):

Which begs the question, how much have they been revised? Would existing copies need us to do our own 'cut-and-paste', like we did for the Revelation Book??

Talking of which....

Revelation book we studied 3 times.

But I would love to study this book again.

Yes we did: 1989-1990; 1994-1995; and 2007-2008.

And the last time required that we did our own 'cut-and-paste' using an insert from the Kingdom Ministry.

  • 2010: “Come Be My Follower”
  • 2011: “Bearing Thorough Witness” About God’s Kingdom
  • 2012: God’s Word for Us Through Jeremiah
  • 2013: Who Are Doing Jehovah’s Will Today?

With the emphasis on video production, wouldn't it be interesting if the CBS changed to having a 15-20 minute video each week followed with review questions?

A totally new format for a meeting so that we could have a series of videos on a single subject and then moving to another subject with each series not taking months or years to complete.

I have been thinking the same thing :coffee:

May not even be so series-based, but more flexible, like a designated place for reports. Instead of using the local needs-space for that
