The management of territories (checking in/out, adding, changing, etc.) must be done on a Windows PC.  The only thing you can do on a phone or tablet is view the territories you've been assigned & check them in when you are finished.

Thank you Jeremy for your prompt and clear answer. We hope this can be done in the future.

What some of us have done & what I've done as our congregation's territory servant is, use a remote desktop software to remote back into my Windows system while I'm away from home. I've been using TeamViewer but know others have used Chrome Remote Desktop & other similar software.

Thank you Joss, I will give a try to this interesting solution.

Hello everyone, is there a way to schedule the visits of the service overseer to the field service groups in the NW Scheduler?

Since the below option can only be done to appear as an announcement for the respective group, in the NWP app, what I did was a task on the cleaning schedule (because we can select Groups there) and it then appears on the monthly congregation activities to be posted on the information board

You can find it under Congregation Events. Select a specific group below.

Since we need to put the schedule on the information board, I find the available templates very limited...
I was tinkering with it and resolved to make a program to get the information from the several pages of the weekly schedule and put it on a single A3 sheet
to get the weekly schedule, field service and public witnessing i have to print 2 different schedules from the program
Now I found out that the public witnessing print, except the one week per page template, don't consider the last week when it is in the nex month, like this month for example, where the last week goes to october
To get the October data i have to print yet another sheet, or use the one week per page template that is 5 sheets more

How do you do it to get all the information gathered?

Anybody knows the meaning of this symbol? (It gives an error after clicking on it)

I am not familiar with that symbol. When you look at the schedule for that week, is the symbol used in the schedule?

It looks like a Language symbol, is there something in the schedule for those weeks that didn't translate correctly?

I think, it's the sign for a foreign language group.

That makes sense, there may be a foreign language group assigned for Hall Care

Indeed it looks like a language symbol but we don't have any language group and I don't see anything unusual on the NWS schedule...
when I try to see that week on NWP it just gives a gray screen

This happens sometimes, some type of glitch I guess. Open up the week(s) with the problem and just change one thing, such as the assigned speaker, then put the correct speaker back and submit the change and it should clear up.

I reported it to them

Good morning to all dear brothers, for some days when parts are assigned, a notification appears on the cell phones with the word disfellowshipped, does it happen to you too? I'm posting a screenshot of what arrives to all the brothers. A big hug to everyone.

Alessandro, it seems that talk was assigned to a publisher and now it's assigned to a different one. The text was wrongly translated in Italian as disassociato when actually it means the assignment has been deleted.

There is an option on the NW Scheduler Contact Page to suggest an improved translation.

So we are using it alongside our previous way of working ( using a WhatsApp group for coordination) while we decide whether to use it as our primary means of maintenance tasks organisation.

It's worked fine, sends alerts and notifications in a similar way to hall cleaning etc.

The documentation can be attached electronically and you can share tasks to users and groups in another congregation.

Only issue we have is it doesn't allow the choice of assigning weekly tasks, eg fire alarm testing.

We have a brother that tells me he is fully updated and connected and yet he shows as running an old version and not having connected for 110 days. Any idea what's happening here and how to fix it?

We had this happen last year. I removed him from the 'Share Person' option. He had to start over with his login.  A little bit of a pain but it resolved it for him.

I wish the NWP app would show a warning when someone uses the app to submit an Away Period that conflicts with a scheduled Assignment or Duty. Just a simple warning message that reminds them there is a conflict and they need to contact the brother that does the schedules.

We are having a problem on multiple phones (but not all) where the tasks and appointments present in the respective tabs (1 and 2 on the image) are not the same as the one present on the tab 1

Screenshot_20241005_192637_Gallery.thumb.jpg.eb53956756be3ab4ba36a4165e290114.jpg

But what is on the tab 1 is the correct version according to what is present on the pc

All of us have the apps updated

We have the problem that in the NW Scheduler, the past hospitality data is deleted by the program. Is this a in general the case, or is it a bug? Because as it stands, it is not possible for the public talk coordinator to see who invited the speaker in the past.
