One question Marky. In making sure congregations have the latest minor update, should I also include congregations in our guest circuit as well?

Yes, in a sense everything is interconnected.  It is not common that a "minor update" is the source of corrupted data but we have experienced it at least one time before.  Secretaries and admins usually get prompt at updating promptly.  A busy brother that schedules PT's may not even notice when updates are posted.  (Sorry I missed your question yesterday.)

One more thing to add...

You can check what NWS version brothers have installed in your own congregation by following this path:

Congregation > Congregation Sharing > Shared Persons

One column will show the major and minor version a brother has installed like this 7.8 #1401

7.8 is the major version and #1401 is the minor version.

You could pass that along to other admins in the circuit if many are experiencing similar issues.  There may be some brothers that are not updated in the latest major or minor versions.

Thankfully, issues like you are experiencing do not happen with every update.

Territory function question: So we are getting ready to begin our Convention Campaigns and I'm hoping to avoid some of the weirdness of working the territory during campaigns. Is there a setting that changes the default way territories are worked just during the limited time we are working campaigns? For instance, we typically work a territory twice before converting all un-reached homes into Letter Writing/Phone witnessing. But since during the campaigns time is limited, we work the territory through once only. It would be nice to be able to simplify the interface in the NW Pub app for the friends so they easily understood how to handle doors during the campaign, marking them either as worked (home or left an invitation) or not worked (no trespassing, apartment lock-outs, etc). Any direction or suggestions?

Our congregation may be voting soon about switching our MWM to a different day. It made me wonder how useful a polling feature might be in NWS/NWP.

Do you think it would be useful if a poll could be created in NWS and everyone could submit their answer through NWP?

This feature seems like it could be useful, though rarely utilized. Aside from the scenario previously mentioned, one other situation comes to mind where it could be beneficial: in the past, brothers were polled regarding how much they could potentially contribute toward specific projects or expenses. However, this practice has not been implemented in our congregation for many years.

I love that idea. But I am not finding any info on using a polling feature. Where did you find that option?

Brother, I think you misunderstood my question. NWS/NWP does not have a polling feature.

I think a polling feature would be handy and I  was asking if anyone else thought it was a good idea.

I don't think so.

The NWP/NWS has enough to do without adding more complications (and potential bugs) to the program.

As the 'Poll' feature currently works simply and effectively in our Cong/group for other matters - WhatsApp would be the logical place for another 'Poll' to be added (in our Cong). imho

Let me explain what the problem is:
Corfu has many streets and sandy paths, making it difficult to capture the entire island in territories.
I first created the maps using Google Maps.
Then I entered them into the NWS.
Due to the lack of a logical street plan, I had to make many adjustments in NWS after entering them.
Everything was going well until NWS stopped accepting adjustments.
I think the problem is that the program thinks I have entered 1000 territories????? I am not soure ca maby another problem(We have a GOLD card and have 147 territories maps.)

Just to add.
When I open a Google Maps file in Google Earth, there are no issues.
When I input the file from Google Maps (KML) into NWS, the program says it was successful.

But NWS does not implement the change in the territory.

Is there a solution for this problem?

Thanks foor your effort
greetings Michael

Question: are these adjustments in territory boundaries? Or are you referring to adjustments in individual addresses?
