Download Netflix series?

Well, to some of the "Netflix experts" out there my question might sound pretty dumb, but can you please tell me if it is possible to download series/movies?

Many series (or all of them???) are removed from the Netflix offer after a certain time. It would be nice to be able to watch some of them again afterwards.

You might want to check the Netflix Terms of Service. I did a quick Google search, and it looks like that would violate the TOS.
